A man from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, has applied for divorce because he keeps dreaming that his wife is cheating on him.
Energy Moyo, who lives in Lobenvale suburb, has been married to Angela Dube for nine years. He went to the Bulawayo Customary Court recently and said in his application that his dreams about his wife being unfaithful have made him believe their marriage can’t be fixed.
In his court papers, Moyo said he’s had these dreams since they got married, and they’ve caused a lot of problems in their relationship. He doesn’t have any real proof that his wife has been unfaithful, but the dreams have made him lose trust and respect for her.
Moyo also said that when he tried to talk to Dube about the dreams, she verbally and physically hurt him. This, along with the stress from the dreams, made him decide to get a divorce.
He wants custody of their two children and half of their things from their home. Moyo thinks this is fair and wants what’s best for their kids.
The Bulawayo Customary Court hasn’t made a decision on Moyo’s request yet.
