Five Abducted, APC Chieftain Shot in Yangoji Attack

Early Monday morning, armed kidnappers stormed Yangoji in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, abducting five residents and shooting Alhaji Musa Majaga, an APC chieftain.

According to Abdullahi, a local resident, the attack occurred around 12:23 am when the assailants forced their way into Majaga’s home by smashing through the burglary-proof windows. They shot Majaga and seized two of his children before kidnapping three more individuals from a neighboring apartment.

A vigilante member, speaking anonymously, attributed the attack to a shortage of cartridges among the local security force.

“This is the first kidnapping incident we’ve had in Yangoji in the past five months,” he said.

Majaga, injured in the leg, is receiving treatment at a Gwagwalada hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident and working towards the release of the abducted victims.
