The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, has announced the release of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) results.
The results are for admissions into Junior Secondary School (JSS1) of Federal Unity Colleges.
Speaking at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday, July 16, Sununu disclosed that out of the 71,291 candidates who registered, 66,931 sat for the exam, while 4,360 were absent.
The minister further revealed that the highest score recorded was 203 out of a possible 210, while the lowest was 1. A total of 52 candidates, including two from Lagos State and 50 from Rivers State, were found to have engaged in examination malpractice.
For the Federal Government Academy (FGA), 2,649 candidates registered, 2,336 wrote the exam, and 313 were absent.
