Daughter of Hollywood Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Drops Father’s Name

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the child of Hollywood A-listers Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has sparked a media frenzy after filing a legal request to drop her father’s last name.

Shiloh’s lawyer swiftly denied reports that she took out a newspaper ad to announce the decision. California law mandates a legal notice for name changes, which appeared in the Los Angeles Times. The lawyer stressed the importance of accurate reporting, especially when it concerns a young adult making a personal choice.

“Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” the lawyer informed the news outlet.

“As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required,” the statement continued.

The exact reasons behind Shiloh’s request remain unknown. However, her lawyer hinted at “painful events” playing a role.

This news coincides with rumors of a strained relationship between Shiloh and Brad Pitt. Sources claim he is “extremely hurt” by the name change request.

Shiloh is the first biological child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The former couple shares six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.

Their high-profile divorce remains unresolved, with ongoing legal battles concerning their French winery.
