Jay-Z and Diddy Accused of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl in 2000

Musician and producer, Jay-Z, was accused in a lawsuit filed on Sunday of raping a 13-year-old girl with hip-hop star Sean Combs in 2000, according to court documents. Jay-Z has denied the allegations.

An amended complaint in a civil case against Combs alleges that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and Combs raped the girl at an after-party following the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2000.

“Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the minor. Many others were present at the after-party, but did nothing to stop the assault,” the complaint reads. “Carter has been with Combs during many such instances described herein. Both perpetrators must face justice.”

Jay-Z was originally identified in the complaint as “Celebrity A”. The updated lawsuit accuses Carter of filing a “frivolous” countersuit.

The plaintiff’s identity is not disclosed in the lawsuit.

Carter, 55, is a billionaire record producer and entrepreneur who began his career as a rapper and is now married to superstar Beyoncé.

Buzbee, the lawyer representing the plaintiff, told AFP, “The pleading speaks for itself. This is a very serious matter that will be litigated in court.”

Rapper Combs, known as “Diddy,” has been separately charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

U.S. federal prosecutors allege that Combs, 55, sexually abused women and coerced them into drug-fueled sex parties using threats and violence.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and his criminal trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.

Combs has also faced a significant number of lawsuits from lawyers including Texas attorney Buzbee, who stated in October that over 100 alleged victims were planning legal action against him.
