Lil Smart has taken to Instagram to allege that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, members of his record label, attempted to murder him on Sunday, 8th December 2024.
The artist claimed that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky “kidnapped” him, took him to a secluded area, and sent their associates, identified as “INN” and “MMP,” to assault him. He alleged that they stripped him naked and attempted to break his legs with stones.
According to Lil Smart, he managed to escape and fled to the expressway, still naked. He shared a video of himself following the alleged attack, showing bruises on his legs, arms, and face, with visible bleeding.
He also posted a clip purportedly showing Zinoleesky chasing him on the expressway.
Lil Smart further claimed that in 2019, he created the viral Tesumole dance for Naira Marley, accusing the latter of now wanting to kill him.
Additionally, he shared a screenshot of a message alleging that the record label intends to harm him in the same way they allegedly harmed Mohbad.
Lil Smart referred to the record label as “Apayan (killer) record rebel” and asserted that he possesses photographic and video evidence to support his accusations. He warned Naira Marley and Zinoleesky to return his belongings, threatening to release details about their alleged plans to harm Mohbad.
These allegations come a year after Mohbad, a former member of the same record label, died under controversial circumstances, with claims of intimidation and harassment by label members, prompting Nigerians to accuse Naira Marley and Sam Larry of involvement.
