English football club Fulham has recognised Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi for achieving a significant milestone, marking his 50th appearance for the club during last weekend’s Premier League match against his former team, Arsenal.
The 27-year-old featured for the entire 90 minutes as Fulham secured a 1-1 draw with the Gunners.
“Half a century in black and white for @alexiwobi!” Fulham wrote on X on Monday.
Iwobi has been a pivotal player for Fulham this season, making 15 Premier League appearances and netting five goals, matching his goal tally from the previous season, which he achieved over 30 matches.
