A video showing a Lagos school teacher violently slapping a student multiple times has sparked outrage.
In the video shared online, the teacher, named Stella Nwadigo, is seen telling the boy named Abayomi Michael to write “six” and the child appears to struggle to get it right. The teacher then slaps him very hard across the face.
The slap did not achieve the intended result, as the boy continued to struggle to write and the teacher slapped him more times.
In total, the teacher gave the child, said to be three years old, no less than four slaps, each one as hard as the previous one.
The incident is said to have happened at Christ-Mitots school in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
