The Idibia family has appealed to the Department of State Services (DSS) for assistance in locating Innocent Idibia, also known as Tuface or Tubaba, claiming he has been missing since 10th February.
The family reports that Tuface left his home dressed casually, without his security detail, and they initially believed he was simply going for a short walk. However, he has not returned.
Adding to their concern, the family says friends have reported receiving messages from the singer requesting financial assistance. This has struck the family as unusual, as they believe Tuface is financially secure and would have no reason to solicit funds.
They also noted that Tuface, known for his dedication to music, has not been to his studio or engaged in his usual songwriting activities for several days.
While the family states they haven’t seen him for four days, Tuface has appeared in videos circulating on social media. One video shows him proposing to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
Following the proposal, Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, released a video asking Natasha to “free” her son. A petition has been filed by the Idibia family regarding Tuface’s “disappearance.”
